Qount, a Plano, TX-based developer of AI-powered practice management software solutions for public accounting firms, has secured $17 million in funding.

The round was led by Savant Growth, with funding from its investment partner, Kennet Partners, along with a sizable co-investment from the new leadership team.
Savant Growth is a private equity firm specializing in bootstrapped, founder-led B2B SaaS and tech-enabled services businesses. With over 30 years of experience, the firm uses a data-driven, entrepreneurial approach to drive growth in high-potential markets. Its investment strategy focuses on digitizing workstreams by combining SaaS, data, analytics, and AI to automate both blue- and white-collar work.
As part of the investment, Javier Rojas, Managing Partner, and Olivier Verhage, Principal of Savant Growth, along with Qount’s new CEO, Peter Miele, will join the company’s Board of Directors.
