Wire, a Berlin, Germany-based groundbreaking leader in secure collaboration platforms, announced that it raised €24 million in Series C funding, bringing Wire’s total raised to €53 million.
The round was led by the growth equity firm Cipio Partners and Iconical, the investment vehicle of Skype co-founder Janus Friis, with participation from existing investor UVC Partners.
The fund will allow Wire to expand further in its technologies and facilitate market-wide platform interoperability, making online collaboration safer for everyone.
Wire is well-positioned to maintain its position as a pioneer in the digital transformation to the next generation of communication and security platforms.
