
Unlikely AI, a London, UK-based artificial intelligence startup, announced the completion of a $20 million seed round led by a group of prominent UK venture capital funds and angel investors.
The funding will be used to accelerate the development of the start-ambitious, up's novel approach to artificial intelligence (AI) and to expand its team.
The round was co-led by Amadeus Capital Partners and Octopus Ventures, with participation from Cambridge Innovation Capital, Skype founder Jaan Tallinn's Metaplanet, and others.
The recent round follows on from a £1.1m angel-only round in October 2020, which saw 26 prominent angel investors contribute, 19 of whom followed on to the current round.
Amelia Armour, Partner at Amadeus Capital Partners, is joining the board of directors of Unlikely AI, and Berkowitz has also joined the board.
