Tricog, a Bangalore, India-based heart health AI firm that provides AI-cardiac diagnosis solutions, raised $8.5 million in a Series B2 funding round led by Japanese institutions, Omron and Sony Innovation Fund.
Existing investors, including the University of Tokyo Edge Capital, Inventus Partners, and Singapore's SG Innovate, also participated in the round.
The funding will be used to expand the product line for remote patient monitoring and to scale the business across Asia and Africa
