TidalSense Raises $19M in Funding

TidalSense, a Cambridge, UK-based AI-powered respiratory diagnostics company, has secured $19 million in funding to accelerate the commercialization of its diagnostic technology. The company, which specializes in non-invasive COPD testing, brings its total funding to $40 million, including previously secured grants.

The round includes investment from new investor Cross-Border Impact Ventures, a North American health tech impact fund, alongside returning investors BGF, Airstream Capital, and Foresight Group.

TidalSense Use of Funds

The capital will be used to accelerate the company’s commercialization efforts within the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Additionally, the funding will support market entry into the United States and the expansion of its diagnostic platform to new medical indications such as asthma, while supporting continued hiring efforts for its commercial and operations teams.
