SAZO, an AI-powered cross-border e-commerce platform based in Nagoya, Japan, has raised 3.21 billion yen in a Series A funding round. The investment, which includes both equity and debt financing, brings the company's total funding to 3.97 billion yen.

The Series A funding round was backed by Japan Post Capital Co., Ltd., Suzuyo Co., Ltd., PARTNERS FUND No. 2 Investment Limited Partnership, NAVER Corporation, H.I.S. Co., Ltd., Mizuho Growth Support No. 5 Investment Limited Partnership, SMBC Venture Capital No. 8 Investment Limited Partnership, and D4V2 Investment Limited Partnership.

SAZO Use of Funds

SAZO intends to use the capital to strengthen product research and development specifically for its agentic commerce infrastructure.
