Rillet, a two-year-old startup based in the United States that provides an AI-native accounting platform, has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round. This latest investment brings the company to unicorn status with a valuation of $1 billion and follows two previous funding rounds within the past year, pushing its total raised capital to over $200 million.
Investors
The round was led by ICONIQ, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Oak HC/FT. New investors in the round include Bain Capital Ventures, Sequoia Global Equities, Battery Ventures, FirstMark, Scale Venture Partners, and Creandum. Seth Pierrepont of ICONIQ will join the company's board of directors.
Rillet Use of Funds
Rillet plans to use the capital to continue developing its AI-native accounting infrastructure and to accelerate its efforts in disrupting legacy enterprise resource planning systems. The funds will support the expansion of their platform to further assist CFOs and finance teams in automating manual accounting operations and increasing operational efficiency.
