Retriever Raises 500M KRW Pre-seed

Retriever, a South Korea based developer of the AI-based compliance and information protection management platform Klarisk, has raised a pre-seed investment round. The company also secured an additional 500 million won in R&D funding through the government-backed TIPS program.

Mashup Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage startups, led the investment round.

Retriever Use of Funds

Retriever plans to use the capital to advance its regulatory understanding and judgment technology using AI. The company aims to expand its compliance automation services from ISMS-P to global standards including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 to support corporate security and international expansion.
