Plato Raises $6.5M in Pre-Seed Round

Plato, a Berlin, Germany-based AI-powered ERP platform for wholesale distributors, has raised $6.5 million in a pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Cherry Ventures, with additional backing from the German government and executives from Microsoft, SAP, and NVIDIA. 

Cherry Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Berlin, London, and Stockholm, was founded in 2012 and typically invests in pre-seed and seed-stage startups. Cherry focuses on sectors including climate tech, consumer, fintech, health tech, industrials, interactive entertainment, lifestyle, mobility, and software. 

Plato Use of Funds 

The company plans to use the funds to expand its team and scale its platform to support more wholesale customers.
