Phaidra Raises $12 Million in Funding

Phaidra, a Seattle, WA-based startup specializing in AI-driven industrial control systems, has raised $12 million in funding, bringing its total raised to $60.5 million. 

Investors 

The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from previous backers including Starshot Capital, Helena, Flying Fish, Ahren Innovation Capital, Section 32, and Character, as well as notable investors like Mustafa Suleyman and Mark Cuban. 

Index Ventures, founded in 1996 with offices in London, San Francisco, and Geneva, partners with entrepreneurs worldwide to develop bold ideas into global businesses, from Seed to IPO. 

About Phaidra 

Founded in 2019 by Jim Gao, Vedavyas Panneershelvam, and Katherine Hoffman, Phaidra creates AI-powered control systems for data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, and commercial building infrastructures. Phaidra uses agents that monitor facility usage. Their AI-powered system optimizes various operational metrics such as cooling, power usage, and water conservation by continuously monitoring and learning from real-time data. The company currently employs around 100 people.
