Orchid Security Raises $36 Million in Seed Round

Orchid Security, a New York-based company specializing in identity-first security orchestration, has raised $36 million in seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was co-led by Team8 and Intel Capital, with support from CapitalOne and industry leaders. 

Team8 is a global venture creation and venture capital fund focused on building and investing in companies across cybersecurity, data & AI, fintech, and digital health sectors. Team8 supports startups from inception to growth.

Intel Capital is the investment arm of Intel Corporation, focusing on technology startups and companies. Its investments span various areas, including artificial intelligence, autonomous technology, cloud and data centers, 5G, semiconductor manufacturing, and cybersecurity. 

Orchid Security Use of Funds 

This funding will accelerate Orchid's use of large language models (LLMs), the development of its platform, scaling up its sales and support teams, and building its marketing engine.
