Nurau Raises $1.5 Million CAD in Seed Round

Nurau, a Montreal, Canada-based AI software company, has raised $1.5 million CAD in seed round. 

Investors 

The round was led by Investissement Québec, with participation from angel investor Sylvain Authier and ACET Capital. Nurau aims to expand this round to $2.2 million within six months. 

Investissement Québec is a Montreal-based financing corporation founded in 1998. It offers a range of financing solutions to SMEs and large companies, including site selection, business assistance, strategic alliance support, and financial services such as loans, equity financing, tax credits, and loan guarantees. The firm serves industries like aerospace, agri-food, ICT, life sciences, mining, and multimedia. 

Nurau Use of Funds 

The funds will support Nurau’s expansion into the U.S., improve sales development, and attract retail and manufacturing clients.
