Miros Raises €6 Million in Pre-Series A

Miros, a Tallinn, Estonia-based image analysis company, has raised €6 million in pre-Series A funding, bringing its total funding to €8 million. 

Investors 

The round was led by EBRD Venture Capital and Tera Ventures, with former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves participating as an angel investor. 

EBRD Venture Capital is the venture investing arm of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. EBRD VC is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs with the vision, ambition, and technology to build global leaders. They invest in both early and growth-stage ventures, with investments ranging from €2 to €25 million. 

Tera Ventures is an Estonian venture capital firm that invests in early-stage, born-global digital startups. They are currently investing from their second fund of €45 million. Based in Estonia, Tera Ventures also invests in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic. 

Miros Use of Funds 

This funding will support R&D, technology development, and market expansion. Miros aims to enhance product discovery and conversion rates through AI-driven visual search.
