longform.ai Secures €300K in Funding

longform.ai, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based company that uses AI technology to distill information from large amounts of audio data, secured €300,000 in funding.

The invesment was from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland.   

Founded in 2018, Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland is an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm that supports North Holland entrepreneurs by providing convertible loans of €50k to €300k for Proof-of-Concept innovations. The fund manages two types of funds: one for innovative startups, backed by the RVO, and one for academic startups, supported by the ERDF. 

longform.ai Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to support the development of its subscription-based AI service. 

About longform.ai 

Founded in 2023 by Paul Groth and Pim Stouten, Longform.ai is a spin-off from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). The company develops a subscription-based AI service that deploys generative AI to extract insights from large amounts of audio data, such as podcasts and webinars.
