Kubiya Secures Additional $6 Million in Funding

Kubiya, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of conversational AI solutions for DevOps teams, has secured $12 million in seed round with a $6 million in extension of equity and debt funding.

Investors 

The recent seed round was led by Heavybit, with participation from Hyperwise VC. Notable angel investors include Cal Henderson, co-founder of Slack, among other DevOps luminaries. 

Heavybit invests in developer-first startups that turn visions into movements, products into platforms, and contributors into communities. Since 2013, Heavybit has been instrumental in redefining how early teams build, deploy, secure, and scale mission-critical technology. 

The company has also welcomed Jesse Robbins, co-founder of Chef and Heavybit partner, to its board, and Armon Dadgar, co-founder of HashiCorp, as a company advisor. 

Kubiya Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to further develop and enhance its AI Teammates platform, accelerate product innovation, and expand its go-to-market efforts.
