Hungryroot, the world's first and only AI-powered personalized grocery service, has raised $40 Million in a Series C round. The round was led by the Growth Fund of L Catterton, the largest global consumer-focused private equity firm.

Hungryroot plans to use the funds to expand its product offering, hire more people, invest in automation technologies, improve its unique personalization algorithm, and scale marketing, all to help bring grocery shopping into the twenty-first century.
