Humata AI, an Austin, Texas-based company that offers an AI platform that simplifies complex research publications and knowledge discovery, raised $3.5 million in a seed funding.

The round was led by Google's Gradient Ventures, with participation from ARK Invest, M13, and other prominent angel investors.
