Fnality, a London-based operator of regulated wholesale payment systems powered by distributed ledger technology (DLT), has raised $136 million (£99.7 million) in Series C funding to expand its global settlement network and accelerate the adoption of tokenized financial assets.
Investors
The round was led by WisdomTree, Bank of America, Citi, KBC Group, Temasek, and Tradeweb.
Existing investors also participated, including Banco Santander, Barclays, BNP Paribas, DTCC, Euroclear, Goldman Sachs, ING, Nasdaq Ventures, State Street, and UBS.
Fnality Use of Funds
The company plans to use the new capital to extend its network footprint to additional major currencies, deliver liquidity management solutions, and provide settlement interoperability for emerging payment ecosystems, including stablecoins and tokenized deposits.
