eMabler Raises €5.5M Series A

eMabler, a Helsinki-based software company specializing in API-based electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has raised €5.5 million in a Series A funding round. The company provides a platform that enables retailers, energy companies, and parking operators to integrate EV charging capabilities directly into their own digital services and mobile applications, moving away from standalone charging apps.

Investors

The funding round was led by Greencode Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on the energy transition. Additional participants in the round included Swiss Post Ventures, Rethink Ventures, and Helkama Kiinteistöt. The company also secured debt and public funding support from Finnvera, facilitated through the European Investment Fund and InvestEU, as well as Business Finland’s Young Innovative Company program.

eMabler Use of Funds

The company plans to utilize the new capital to support its expansion into Central European markets, with a specific focus on Germany and the United Kingdom. Additionally, the funding will be directed toward further development of its software suite, specifically enhancing grid-aware charging capabilities that optimize charging schedules based on real-time electricity pricing and grid conditions.
