
Clevai, a Vietnamese-based online teaching platform for students from kindergarten to grade 12, bagged $2.1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Singapore’s Altara Ventures.
The round also saw participation from existing backers including Vietnam and SEA-focused VC FEBE Ventures and New York-based marketplace investment firm FJ Lab.
The money will be used to enhance Clevai's live streaming infrastructure and personalize artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning experiences, a company’s spokesperson said.
