Dubformer Raises €3.4 Million in Seed Round

Dubformer, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based provider of AI dubbing solutions for media and entertainment, has raised €3.4 million in seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by Almaz Capital, with s16vc and FinSight as key investors, along with angel investors such as Arul Menezes, founder of Microsoft Translator, and Funa Maduka, former head of International Original Film at Netflix.

Dubformer Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to expand its emotion transfer technology, further developing AI-powered dubbing solutions to improve emotional expression and localization accuracy.

Founded in 2023 by Anton Dvorkovich, Dubformer provides AI dubbing solutions for the entertainment and media sectors. The company focuses on enhancing the dubbing process by using its proprietary emotion transfer technology, which captures the emotional nuances of speech into the dubbed version. The company uses proprietary AI technologies to localize video content for a global audience, supporting over 130 languages. Dubformer serves over 200 clients globally, including Paramount and Little Dot Studios.
