Centricity Raises Rs 280Cr Series A

Centricity, a wealth management startup based in Gurugram, has raised Rs 280 crore in a Series A funding round. This latest investment continues the company's growth as it builds out its digital wealth infrastructure and expands its private wealth service offerings.

The round was led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund. Additional participating investors included existing backers Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Kuldeep Rathi Family Office, Stride Ventures, and InnoVen Capital.

Centricity Use of Funds

Centricity plans to use the new capital to expand its private wealth business and enhance its offerings for non-resident Indian clients. The company intends to hire over 50 private bankers for its domestic operations and 35-40 bankers dedicated to the NRI segment. Additionally, the funds will support the expansion of the company’s technology platform and operations within GIFT City and the Dubai International Financial Centre.
