Carecode Raises $4.3M in Pre-Seed Round

Carecode, a Brazil-based startup developing AI agents to handle pre- and post-medical appointment tasks typically managed by call centers, has raised $4.3 million in pre-seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by a16z and QED, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst, KDX Ventures, K50 Ventures, and Latitud Ventures, as well as prominent figures from Brazil’s tech scene, including Nubank founder David Vélez. 

Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is a venture capital firm that backs bold entrepreneurs shaping the future through technology. The firm invests in companies at various stages, from seed to growth, manages $43 billion in assets across multiple funds. 

Founded in 2007, QED Investors is a venture capital firm based in Alexandria, Va. The firm focuses on investing in disruptive financial services companies worldwide.
