Carbyne, a New York-based leading provider of cloud-native emergency contact center solutions, announced that it raised $56 million in Series C funding, bringing Carbyne’s total amount raised to $128 million to date.
The round was co-led by Cox Enterprises and Hanaco Growth Fund, with participation from new investors Valor Equity Partners, General Global Capital, TalC, and Sandiip Bhammer alongside existing investors including Founders Fund, FinTLV, Elsted Capital Partners, and former CIA Director General David Petraeus.
With this investment in Carbyne, the company will be able to accelerate the digital transformation of mission-critical operations and government service centers, primarily in the United States.
Furthermore, the investment will enable Carbyne to accelerate its global expansion and grow its B2B business, allowing corporations to increase situational awareness and collaborate more efficiently during emergencies.
Carbyne will also continue to invest in emerging technologies by incorporating AI and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities into its APEX platform with the help of top-tier technology partners.
The Series C funding comes on the heels of a 400% increase in US revenue and a 185% increase in total contract value over the previous year.
