CAIS, the New York-based alternative investment platform for independent financial advisors, has raised $170 million in a Series D funding round. The investment values the company at over $2 billion and brings its total funding to nearly $600 million.
Investors
The round was led by Vista Equity Partners, a global investment firm focused on enterprise software. Additional participating investors included AllianceBernstein L.P., funds managed by Blue Owl Capital, Carlyle, Fortress Investment Group, Golub Capital, Lord Abbett, and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
