Builder.ai, a London, UK-based AI-powered composable software platform, announced that it has secured over $250 million in Series D funding, this latest investment brings the total amount raised by the company to over $450 million.
Led by Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), with participation from existing and new investors including Iconiq Capital, Jungle Ventures, and Insight Partners.
The Series D funding will be utilized to support Builder.ai®'s ongoing innovation pipeline and further solidify its position as a leader in the industry. The company intends to allocate the funds toward talent acquisition, partnerships, and technology development.
Notably, Builder.ai aims to revolutionize the software development process by prioritizing human conversation as the primary user interface, shifting away from traditional expert-laden white-canvas systems commonly found in the no-code/low-code space.
Since January 2022, the company has almost doubled its headcount to accommodate expansion requirements. Additionally, in line with its global expansion strategy, Builder.ai® has opened four new offices in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and France, further extending its presence beyond its UK headquarters.
