Auror, a New Zealand-based retail crime reporting and intelligence software provider, has raised NZ$82 million in Series C funding.

The round was led by Axon Enterprise, W23 Global, and Reinventure, with support from existing investors.
Axon is building the public safety operating system of the future by integrating a suite of hardware devices and cloud software solutions that support modern policing. Axon's offerings include TASER energy devices, body cameras, in-car cameras, cloud-hosted digital evidence management solutions, productivity software, and real-time operations capabilities.
W23 Global is a venture capital fund backed by five leading grocery retailers: Tesco, Ahold Delhaize, Empire, Woolworths Group, and Shoprite. The fund invests in start-ups and scale-ups deploying technology to transform grocery retail and address sustainability challenges.
Reinventure Australia is a Sydney-based, founder-first corporate venture capital fund. It focuses on creating options in future businesses through venture investment and a strategic relationship with its largest limited partner, Westpac Banking Corporation. Reinventure invests in and nurtures scalable early-stage businesses that aim to shape the industry's future.
Auror Use of Funds
The funds will be used to support Auror's growth in North America and the UK, as well as to drive further R&D investment.
