Amplication, an Israeli developer of an open-source project that streamlines and automates backend development, raised $6.6m in Seed funding.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners and Vertex Ventures Israel, joined by Entrée Capital, Velocity Ventures, and angel investors that include the founders of Datorama (acquired by Salesforce), Epsagon (acquired by Cisco), and Bridgecrew (acquired by Palo Alto Networks).
The company intends to use the funds for the expansion of its open-source community, product development, and the introduction of an enterprise version of the platform.
