AGent Energy Raises $11M Seed
AGent Energy, a Houston-based developer of AI-driven distributed power plants, has announced the closing of an $11 million Series Seed financing round. This new capital brings the company's total funding to $17 million in its first 12 months of operation.
Investors
The round was co-led by Spero Ventures and MassMutual Ventures. Additional participating investors include Intrepid Investment Management, as well as existing investors Zero Infinity Partners (ZIP) and CIV.
AGent Energy Use of Funds
AGent Energy plans to use the new capital to aggressively scale its team and accelerate its push to unlock over 200 GW of behind-the-meter generation across commercial and industrial facilities, as well as the municipal, university, school, and hospital sectors.
