Abridge Raises $250 Million in Series D

Abridge, a Pittsburgh, PA-based generative AI platform for clinical conversations, has raised $250 million in Series D funding.  

Investors  

The round was co-led by Elad Gil and IVP, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, California Health Care Foundation, CapitalG, CVS Health Ventures, K. Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture arm), Redpoint Ventures, Spark Capital, and SV Angel.  

Elad Gil is a well-known entrepreneur, angel investor, and advisor that invests in various startups, particularly in sectors such as technology, healthcare, and artificial intelligence (AI)  

IVP (Institutional Venture Partners) is a venture capital and growth equity firm based in the United States, primarily investing in late-stage and growth-stage technology companies across various sectors, including software, fintech, health tech, and consumer technology.  

Abridge Use of Funds  

The investment will fuel further development of AI capabilities and support commercial growth for broader applications.
